- Hormone (released chemical which can act somewhere else)
- Altradian Cycle (about 90 min, sleep and day is split in these cycles)
- Melatonin (chemical which makes you want to sleep the more you have)
- Circadian Rythm/Circadian Clock (inner clock so our body knows approxametely time of day, around 24 hours long)
- Epinephrin/Adrenaline (both same molecule just produced elsewhere, E. near the kidney, A. in brain)
- Peptites (little proteins in blood stream)
- LUX (determined by Photon energy and not brightness, artificial light can be bright but a lot less LUX as not as bright sunlight)
- Jetlag (the inability to match local sunligh and local darkness to your circadian rythm)
